Taking on 2 new partnerships for Q4

I turn ambitious ideas into software that scales

I'm Sadam Hussain - principal engineer, software architect and AI engineer. For 11+ years I've built the systems founders bet the company on: SaaS platforms, startup MVPs and AI products that hold up under real customers, real data and real money.

Fixed scope. Written architecture. A date you can plan a launch around.

How I help

Senior engineering judgement, applied to your business problem

Most projects don't fail on syntax. They fail on scope, data models and decisions nobody wrote down. That's the work I'm hired for.

Startup MVP Development

A fundable, demo-ready product in weeks - scoped around the one thing that has to work.

AI Solutions

Retrieval, agents and automation built on evaluated pipelines, not prompt guesswork.

Enterprise Software

Systems that survive audits, compliance reviews, and a decade of team turnover.

Cloud Architecture

Cost-aware infrastructure on AWS and Cloudflare, sized for the traffic you actually have.

Software Consulting

An outside architect who reads the code, talks to the team, and writes down the truth.

API Development

Versioned, documented, idempotent interfaces your partners can integrate without a call.

System Design

Data models, queues and caching strategies decided before they become incidents.

Technical Leadership

Hiring, code standards and delivery cadence for teams that need a senior anchor.

Featured products

Products I've architected, built and operated

Not screenshots - systems with users, uptime commitments and unit economics I had to defend.

SaaS Platform

Softedin

Software studio operating system

A delivery platform that turns a services business into a repeatable, measurable machine - pipeline, scoping, sprint delivery and invoicing in one system.

  • Laravel
  • Vue
  • MySQL
  • Redis
  • AWS
  • Stripe
Estimate accuracy
+38%
Invoicing cycle
6 days → 1
Reporting queries
sub-200ms

Replaced four disconnected tools and gave leadership a live view of margin across every active engagement.

Realtime Platform

PEEQ

Real-time tracking platform

High-frequency location and asset tracking with live dashboards, geofencing and an event pipeline that stays calm under burst load.

  • Node.js
  • React
  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis
  • Docker
  • AWS
Live map latency
< 800ms
Ingest throughput
12k events/min
History query time
31s → 0.4s

Unblocked enterprise contracts that had a hard latency requirement in the SLA.

AI Product

Zizta

AI SEO platform

An AI research and content system that drafts, critiques and grades briefs against real SERP data - with evaluation baked into the pipeline.

  • Laravel
  • React
  • OpenAI
  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis
  • Cloudflare
Editor agreement

Cost per brief
-61%
Draft-to-publish time
4h → 25m

Turned an unpredictable AI feature into a product with defensible quality claims and stable margins.

How I work

Architecture first. Then code. Then proof.

Every engagement starts with a written architecture - domain boundaries, data model, scaling plan and the decisions we deliberately deferred. Your team can execute it with or without me.

01 · Diagnose

Read the code, talk to the team, find the real constraint.

02 · Decide

Write the architecture down. One page per decision.

03 · Deliver

Ship in vertical slices behind flags, weekly demos.

04 · Prove

Numbers before and after. Latency, cost, conversion.

Testimonials

What clients say when the pressure is real

"Sadam rebuilt our ingest pipeline and the difference showed up in the sales conversation the same quarter. He is the rare engineer who understands why the SLA exists."
Operations Director · Logistics platform, UK
"We hired him to review an architecture. He found the problem in three days, wrote it down clearly enough for our board, and then stayed to fix it."
Founder & CEO · Series A SaaS, USA
"Our MVP was in front of investors in nine weeks. What impressed me most was what he talked us out of building."
Co-founder · Fintech startup, UAE
"He works like a partner, not a vendor. Two years in, he still knows our system better than anyone on the payroll."
CTO · Enterprise services group

FAQ

The questions founders ask first

How much does an MVP cost?

Most MVPs I take on land between $12k and $35k depending on scope, integrations and whether AI is involved. You get a fixed scope, a fixed date and a written architecture before any code is written.

How long does development take?

A focused MVP is typically 6–10 weeks. A full SaaS platform is 3–6 months. Architecture engagements are 2–4 weeks and produce documents your team can execute without me.

Can you join as CTO?

Yes - as a fractional CTO on a monthly retainer. That covers roadmap, hiring, architecture governance and technical due diligence for fundraising.

What technologies do you recommend?

Laravel or Node for the backend, React or Vue on the front, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and AWS or Cloudflare. The stack matters far less than the data model and the boundaries around it.

Do you work with existing teams?

Often. I embed with in-house teams as a senior anchor - reviewing code, setting standards, and unblocking the decisions that have been sitting still for months.

How do we start?

A 30-minute discovery call. If it is a fit, you receive a written scope, timeline and fixed price within three working days.
